What is UAPA

The idea of UAPA was born from the mixed emotions of life in Athens, but it has now evolved into a bridge between urban hubs. At every stop, the cycle of Human - Art - City expands: the exhibition acts as a mirror, where one metropolis is reflected in another. The audience is invited to navigate through similarities and contrasts, participating in a dialogue that highlights the identity of modern lifestyles through photography.
People are a product of the city they inhabit, just as the city is a product of the people who define it. UAPA seeks to step into this cycle, offering a visual reflection on the symbiotic relationship between: Human - Art - City.

Why UAPA?

UAPA aims to showcase an authentic microcosm of Athens, fostering a vibrant artistic dialogue with each host city. Starting from the Greek capital, the journey continues through Europe, with Barcelona as its first stop and the introduction of the Mirror Concept.

This is an exhibition structure where Athenian energy meets the perspective of Barcelona. Through an Open Call to local creators, the exhibition transforms into an urban mirror: the identity of Athens is reflected in the streets of Barcelona, seeking the common Mediterranean rhythms, the intensities, and the similarities that unite these two cultural poles.
